Graduating high school is a major life accomplishment. It’s the end of the chapter of teenage-dom and the opening to a new chapter of adulthood. The high school years of every teen are full of change, phases, lessons, and growth. Each senior gets the chance to choose a senior yearbook quote; a way for their peers to remember them in their post-secondary education lives. Whether a funny punchline, a favorite song lyric, or a literary inspiration, a quote for each senior is like the final farewell and remembrance of their time in Brentwood’s halls.
Brentwood’s senior quotes can be emailed to Mrs. Haug at [email protected] by February 14th to be included in the yearbook. In order to keep the yearbook consistent, every senior will have a quote under their name. If a senior does not provide a personalized quote by the February 14th deadline, a quote will be chosen at random and placed under the picture. Each quote needs to be school appropriate and not too lengthy. A source should also be included with the quote, whether it be a famous person, the senior themselves, or unknown.
Any senior need some ideas? Here are some famous quotes to inspire senior sayings:
“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” – Dr. Suess
“It’s hard to soar with the eagles when you’re surrounded by turkeys.” – Adam Sandler
“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
“We did not come to fear the future. We came here to shape it.” – Barack Obama
“Life isn’t how to survive the storm; it’s about how to dance in the rain.” – Taylor Swift
