Homecoming is just around the corner at BHS. Be ready, Brentwood, because “There’s no place like Home…coming”.
Yes, you heard that right. This year’s theme is Wizard of Oz! The student body was able to vote, and fortunately, Senior Emma Trostel came up with the theme and won! As you know the Wizard of Oz is the story of a Kansas farm girl named Dorothy who ends up in the magical Land of Oz after she and her pet dog Toto are swept away from their home by a cyclone. Upon her arrival in the magical world of Oz, she meets new friends and learns she cannot return home until she has destroyed the Wicked Witch of the West.
This year we have a great lineup for our spirit days:
Monday: Munchkin land Monday (Dress like a kid!)
Tuesday: Twister Tuesday (Wear something wacky)
Wednesday: Which Witch is which? (Twin with someone)
Thursday: Spirit Day (Wear purple and gold)
Friday: Follow the yellow brick road (College wear, Future career, Senior citizen, etc)
These spirit days will start the week of the 7th of October and end the 11th. We will end the week with the dance on the 12th! Hope to see you join in the Spirit day fun!
