With the holiday season here, it’s time to go gift shopping. It can be very hard to find good gifts for your family and friends. So we here at The Nest have made a gift guide to help you out. 

Dad/Grandpa:

In my opinion, dads are the hardest people to shop for; they always say, “Oh, I don’t want anything.”  But we know that’s not true! Here are a few ideas for those father figures in your life.

• Personalized Watch – This would be a good gift because you could have it for long-term use, and it being personalized is special and gives a sense of remembrance for who they got it from.
• BBQ Grill Set- This would be a good gift for anyone who loves to cook and needs fresh supplies. 
• Wireless Earbuds- These would make a good gift for someone who likes to listen to music, and if they already have some, getting them a new pair would be beneficial because everyone is always losing them, or the earbuds are being “borrowed” by someone else in the family.
  

• Quality time – Coach Hughes says that he wants a trip for Christmas “A nice getaway to the cabin is just what I need,” he said.
  

• Personalized Leather Wallet- Wallets can get old and rusty, so getting a new wallet is just a nice and simple gift. Getting it personalized is even better and shows the person you took the extra step to make it special.
  

Mom/Grandma

• Towel Warmer- These would make a good gift for after a nice shower and you want to be comfy in your warm towel. 
• Hair Wand Wave- Coach Robin plans to get this for his wife because she needs a new one, and he knows she’ll love it. 
• Cutting Board/Cutting Knives- A fresh set of knives is always good because it is good to switch out supplies every once in and while and they aren’t too expensive
• Digital Frame- This is a great gift for when your family member doesn’t want to see the same picture all the time. It changes automatically, and you can add tons of photos. 
• Winter Hat/Scarf- This is a very simple gift that anyone in the family will love — winter accessories can be cute but also useful!
  

Teen Boys

• Speaker- A new one would be a great gift for when your child wants to host a gathering and they all want to listen to music together.
• New Balances shoes- All shoes are a rewarding gift but some that are trendy right now are New Balances. They are colorful and very comfortable. 
• Video Game Controller- Many teens play video games and getting a new controller is always a great gift.
  
• Hoodies/Sweatshirts- A comfy hoodie is always a popular gift – many people love wearing hoodies because they are comfortable and can be styled well.
• Gift Certificate for Activate (Located in Brentwood on Eager Road)- This is a game world where you problem-solve, jump around and enjoy your teammate’s company. This would be a great gift for your friends or family to enjoy a fun gaming experience.

Teen Girls 

• Luxury Water Bottle – Stanleys are a great gift for teens, everyone is using them and they make water and other drinks very cold and tasty.
• Heatless Curling Rods- Teens love it when they curl their hair, but curling irons can damage their hair it if they do it all the time, so heatless curls are a great alternative. 
• Body Mists- Body Mists aren’t like perfumes. They are way less expensive, which makes a good gift for anyone who is into smelling nice and fresh.
• Key Chain Wallet – These are the perfect gift for shopping and errands because they are very lightweight and convenient. 
• Slippers- These would make a great if you want to just wear a comfortable shoe around the house. I know I love my slippers. They are cute, and I always wear them as soon as I get home. 

Young Girls

• Squishmallows- According to Coach Robin, he said that this is “exactly what my daughter wanted, she loves how fluffy and cute they are.” He is going to get this for her for Christmas. 
• Bath Bombs- These make a fun gift for your child to make bath time a little more fun and exciting. 
• Light up animal terrarium– This would be a fun activity for children when they want a little fun pet to grow. Kids would love to wake up and watch their pets grow each day. 
• Fuzzy Socks- I know personally I loved getting fuzzy socks, they make things more fun and come in many different themes. 
• Lip balms- These would be a good gift because you never know when you need a lip balm. They can come in many different flavors too.

Young Boys

• Nerf Products- A Nerf war is always a fun family activity and an affordable gift for your child.
• Remote Control Car- This might be a little troublesome for the adults but this is a great gift for a child to play with throughout the day. 
• Sports Ball- Getting a child any kind of sports ball is beneficial so they can be active while playing something they love to do. 
• Rubik Cubes/ Other hand Puzzles- Puzzles like the Rubik’s Cube are a good mind game for kids while also adding an element of fun.
• Legos- These would be safe for young kids and also very fun for any age.
