Last Saturday, May 10th, Brentwood’s Track and Field team competed in districts at Lutheran North High School where a number of athletes qualified for sectionals!  Sectionals will take place this Saturday at Grandview High School. If they do well at sectionals, these athletes would then move on to state!

Qualifying for Sectionals:

Freshman Mari Goodlow—girls 100 meters.

Sophomore Charlie Butler—2-mile.

Sophomore Evan Goldman—boys 400 meters.

Junior Demetrius Thompson—boys 300-meter hurdles & triple jump.

Senior Logan Hawkins—boys 200 meters.

4×100 & 4×200 team: Logan Hawkins, Jessie Lane III, Demetrius Thompson, August Morgan-Scott, and Tyler Taylor.

“I believe that they will all achieve in what they are doing, I’m sure they will do well at sectionals, ” said sophomore Geniyah Johnson. “The seniors will also be really missed by the rest of the team!”
