Even though Homecoming 2023 was just two weeks ago, it’s never too early to reminisce through photos. Here take a look at some of our staff favorites from Homecoming Week!

A group of juniors featuring (left to right) Austin Eslinger, Lucas Kelley, Zachary Nelson, Luca Bostick-Valero, and Logan Hawkins dances their hearts out at our Homecoming Dance. First-time DJ Mr. Davinroy organized the music, with his DJ booth designed to reflect the Barbenheimer theme. StuCo spent a week in preparation for dance on October 7th, with several spirit days and events occurring throughout the Brentwood community. When asked his opinion of the dance, Nelson commented, "It was really fun once we finally started dancing."

Will Schuering, Staff Writer
William "The Cod" David Francis Schuering is a man of many names and titles. He is currently in his Senior year at BHS and participates in various sports and activities. Will has played varsity and junior varsity soccer since his first year and has participated in tennis and wrestling. He has participated in Brentwood Theatre, Robotics, Jazz & Pep Band, and has served as a Class Officer, NHS member, and StuCo Vice President. Will has passions for music, media, and, most importantly, days when the school serves chicken bowls for lunch. He hopes to add to the sense of fun at The Nest News with plenty of wacky shenanigans and hijinx.

Madison Pierce is a junior at Brentwood High School, and this is her third year writing for The Nest. She has a passion for nature, animals, and art, as well as milkshakes. She is excited to spend her junior year learning photography and hopes to spend more time behind the camera.

Haven White, Staff Reporter
Haven White is a senior at BHS. She is an extreme theater kid and wants to become a teacher in the future. She loves traveling, listening to music, writing poetry, and Starbucks. In her free time, she enjoys doing cool makeup looks and rewatching Mean Girls for the hundredth time. This is her third year on the Journalism staff.
