It’s time for another art competition! Last week, the competition was fierce and many stunning pieces of art were submitted. There was also much more involvement than expected, so now it’s time for part 2! The rules will be the same as last week; however, entries are capped at 10 per week and they will be chosen on a first come first serve basis.
The rules are as follows:
- Create a beautiful piece of art (any method or style)
- Your art MUST be school appropriate or it won’t be featured
- DM a picture of the art to @brentwood.journalism on Instagram (if you don’t have Instagram, email a picture to [email protected])
- ART MUST BE SUBMITTED BY FRIDAY, APRIL 17th
How to win:
- Once all art is submitted, there will be a post on @brentwood.journalism on Instagram with all of the entries and a number for each entry.
- The entry number with the most COMMENTS wins!
- VOTING ENDS SUNDAY, APRIL 19th
The winner will receive a feature in the newspaper and a spot on the virtual plaque! Last week, the winner was Caroline Buckley with 130 votes! In second place was Lydia Anderson with 115 votes! There will be an article about Buckley and her art later this week. Anyone with art is encouraged to submit an entry into the competition. Go make some art!
