Senior Spotlight: Caroline Gombas

As an involved student at Brentwood High School, senior Caroline Gombas has participated in soccer, volleyball, wrestling stats, Spanish Club, Feminist Coalition Club, Student Council, and National Honor Society. She has taken a liking to sports, with volleyball or soccer being her favorite activities. Next year when she starts college, she can hopefully remain as involved in school activities as she has in high school!

Gombas will be attending the University of Kansas next year to major in psychology. She plans to use her degree to begin a career as an adolescent psychologist. Gombas is also excited about college so she can live in her own space, where she can do her favorite activities of chilling out with her friends and watching TV with her cat. Animals are one of her favorite things in the world, so it makes sense she loves to hang out with her cat. Another one of her favorite things is music, and she loves any songs by the band The Frights. As she reflects back on high school, she says art has been her favorite class, mainly because of the clay unit. Gombas has thrived during the last four years at Brentwood High School, and I can’t wait to see all she will accomplish as she begins college!
