Last year, Spirit Week was on Zoom, and Homecoming didn’t happen. So we weren’t able to have all the fun festivities that we usually host. However, this year we are back to some sense of normalcy which means we get to enjoy a fun-filled homecoming spirit week!

The themes for the week are as follows:

Monday, September 20, is Pajama Day. 

Monday is also the election for Homecoming Court Royalty. Voting will be through student email and will be sent out during advisory. 

Tuesday, September 21, is Class Color Day. Seniors wear pink, juniors wear green, sophomores wear blue, and freshmen wear orange. 

Wednesday, September 22, is Hawaiian Day. 

Thursday, September 23, is Brentwood Spirit Day, so make sure to wear purple and gold.

Thursday is also the homecoming pep assembly, which will occur during 4th period from 1:50 to 3:03, on the track and field. Poster night is from 6 pm to 7:30 on Thursday. 

There will be no school on Friday, September 24. But there will be football! The homecoming football game starts at 7:00 Friday night, and the royalty will be announced during halftime. 

Homecoming tickets will be sold from Friday, September 17 to Thursday, September 23, during advisory and lunch. Homecoming and spirit week will certainly be thrilling, and the staff here at The Nest are excited to see Brentwood show its spirit!
