Everybody in the gaming community knows about the classic video games — Call of Duty, Skyrim, and PUBG — but sometimes the games we’ve been playing our whole lives can get a little boring. Yes, they are amazing games, but after a while, you’re just doing the same things over and over again.
Well, today I am going to talk about two simple and very addicting games for you and your friends to play.
The games I’m going to talk about are Gang Beasts and Brawlhalla. They are both PvP (player vs. player) games about fighting people and being either the last person or the last team alive. Simple but, for some reason, really fun.
In Gang Beasts, there are over 100 costumes and ten character colors to choose from, and when you start the game, you already have them all unlocked. Once you select your outfit, you are put into one of the many game maps, and it’s game on. Based on the map, you will have to throw other players into a fire, a grinder, an ocean, and more.
A big thing that I like about this game is that there are no gore or weapons, just silly little blob characters who run around smacking people and jumping into the sky. It’s also completely 3D, making it feel like you are a part of the game.
In Brawlhalla, you need to get better and get points in games in order to unlock more characters. Also, each character has unique abilities, powerups, and weapons that make them special. Some have guns, some have swords, and some even have iron fists that can punch you far into the void.
Brawlhalla‘s maps are all types of islands in the sky, and the whole point of this game is to knock the other players into the abyss. Players have three lives, so they are out for good once they die a third time. This game has much better graphics and sound effects than Gang Beasts, but it is all completely 2D.
So how exactly are the games different?
Well, for starters, the layout is completely different because of the 3D-2D formations. This creates a huge difference between the games because it gives both games a completely different experience.
Another big difference is how in Brawlhalla, you are dead for good if you die three times. In Gang Beasts, if you die, you’re dead until the start of the next round. It’s not until you win a whole three rounds that you actually win the game.
There are so many reasons to love both games. The simplicity and end goals make them so exciting and engaging for all. They are available on both consoles and PC. Also, if you are new to playing video games and need some practice before you get into the big games, these are perfect for you.
All in all, despite these games being pretty different, they are both great to just blow off some steam and have a great time.
