After 4 months of blistering, white-hot heat, it’s about that time again. That’s right, it’s time to bust out the sweatshirts and long sleeves. As the temperature stays dropping, we stay dripping.
What is everyone excited to wear this fall? Hear it here first.
Freshman Luellen Forney was quick to say, “I just got this new long sleeve ‘I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love’ shirt (My Chemical Romance) from their merch website. It’s their first album. It’s my favorite. But in general, just jackets and long sleeve shirts.”
Senior Haven White is also excited to get back to long sleeves. “Sweaters,” she said without a moment’s hesitation. “Flannels, flared leggings, and button-ups, too,” she added.
Mrs. Wilson concurred with White and Forney. “Sweaters, cardigans,” she said. “I’m a librarian so I have a decent collection of cardigans, she added with a chuckle. “All things skeletons, pumpkins, bats, boo-oooks. I can’t wait. I haven’t bought it yet, but I’m getting a button-down t-shirt of skeletons doing yoga.”
Juniors David Wallace and Madden White-Schnarr were both excited to wear hoodies. Wallace remarked, “I’m most excited to wear some hoodies and sweatpants and beanies too. I might wear my Boeing hoodie.”
“Hoodies,” White-Schnarr seconded. “I did actually get this blazer, it’s like a nice jacket; some 80’s type stuff. It’s black. It’s got some nice turbo black cuffs too.”
Junior boys weren’t the only ones ready for hoodies. Senior Christian White said, “I can’t wait to wear hoodies. You can see I have one on today because it was already a little cool outside.” He laughed. “It’s either gonna be that or joggers. Easily my favorite article of clothing, because you can wear them year round!”
